National Emergency Briefing
It’s Important, It Concerns all of Us and Future Generations!
Free admission and refreshments
Afterwards we can discuss what we as citizens (and parish councillors, county councillors, community groups, business owners, farmers) can do to deal with the issues raised in the film.
It would be great if as many people as possible would come and join in…
Bring a friend
More people, More ideas, More action!
If you could email if you are coming that would be great, if not, just turn up.
Some background.
In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. That evidence is now on the public record. Chaired by Berners Lee, eight leading experts discussed the crises affecting food supply, health and national security. In his address to the audience Chris Packham emphasised the urgency of the situation AND the need for urgent action.
The aim of this film – based on the briefing is to bring together people in their local communities across the UK to hear the evidence and discuss how to respond. Many local communities are screening this film.
PLEASE COME AND BRING YOUR IDEAS AND AS MANY PEOPLE WITH YOU AS POSSIBLE.
Friday 15th May

Meet 11:10am locally. (We aim to car share).
Arrive at 12 noon with packed lunch. Please let us know if you would like to book a place.
This immersive learning journey is similar to a science discovery centre and viewing windows into the waste plant showcase what happens to our waste. Knowledgeable hosts and interactive displays help to show how we can all contribute to a greener future by avoiding waste and recycling more.
